…For weekend walks and ice cream.
On Friday night, we decided we all needed ice cream after dinner. We took a walk beforehand to let Owen burn off some energy. Mostly our walks these days consist of chasing Owen down from his never-ending quest to get into the street (you know, to be close to the ckas! [trucks] and bahs! [buses].
We also spend a lot of time pointing out and paaae!-ing every airplane that flies over, which happens approximately every 45 seconds. This is not the season for efficient walks.
Owen’s latest trick is to do this slow-motion fall, in which he ends up like this. On the pavement. #babiesarestrange
We finally made it to the Grand Ole Creamery, where we took turns sharing our ice cream with this little monster. Today, we’re thankful for the cool weather after a week of oppressive heat. Thankful for peaches to make this crumble with. And thankful for the extra day to be together on Monday. Happy Labor Day!
