‘Tis the Season…

…for the Pizza Farm. Again.

Last Tuesday, we headed down to Stockholm for a visit to the pizza farm with our friends Darren and Rachel and their little guy Archie who is a year older than Owen.

Earlier in the summer, Rachel and I had decided a joint trip was in order once we both got past our first trimester and any lingering food aversions. This is our bump comparison picture as Rachel’s due just a WEEK after I am. It’s been so fun to share this pregnancy with her!

Pizza-Farm-2 Low bump, high bump – any gender guesses?

Owen had such a great time looking at the sheep and cows and making relatively correct animal noises at them.

It was such a beautiful night – with perfect weather and fresh non-city smells all around. Not to mention a smoked pork pizza that I have woken up thinking about this past week. Pizza-Farm-6 I’ve said it before, but if you live anywhere within driving distance, try to make it out to the pizza farm before it gets too cold. These early fall months are the perfect time for a visit – low wait times (we waited 5 minutes) for our pizza and weather that makes you wish you were camping out.

  1. If I remember right, it’s a little more expensive than your typical pizza. I think they’re in the $20 – $26 range. We had a several pieces left over between the two of us though.

  2. I’ve always heard of the pizza farm and it’s not that far from our home, so we’ll have to give it a try. I love Stockholm and it’s unique shops. There’s a nice cooking store there as well. Actually, I love all the small towns along the Mississippi River.

I love the baby bumps….what a great picture.
