‘Tis the Season

…for toddlers, babies, and Wisconsin.

My mom, standing with my brother, who is holding one of his own outfits from when he was a newborn. Can’t wait to see it on their new little guy! #newbornvintage

This last weekend, we went down to my family’s house in Wisconsin to attend a baby shower for my brother Ben and his wife Vicki, who are expecting their first baby at the end of September.

I was so glad we got to be there, and I got to see a few cousins and aunts that I don’t get to see very often. This is from right to left, my sister-in-law Vicki, my cousin Allison, and me…all expecting mamas, in descending order of due dates!

We’re so excited for Ben and Vicki to be parents. Mostly I’m excited for Ben to say inadvertently say things that my Dad would always say and then text me, telling me that he can’t believe he just did that. They’re going to be great parents, especially if they follow the advice in this great new parenting book we got them.

We officially have a toddler on our hands, folks. This boy toddles with the best of them, and he loved the great expanses of hardwood and grass my that parents’ house had to offer. Here’s a little sneak peek into the life and times of Owen these days.
